Venice is the capital of Veneto, as the name would suggest. This region is home to the famous “Amarone” wines which are made through a very unique process (learn more in the video below).
When we went to Venice we stayed in an AirBnB property and enrolled our family in an Italian language immersion for a week. We are all learning Italian together and such programs are a good way to really connect with a city. We also visited during “Carnevale” which is a terrific experience. Below are a few photos from our time in Venice and if you can make it there for Carnevale you are in for a treat!
