What is Executive Wine Education?
Executive Wine Education is the “executive summary” of wine. We share posts and videos on each of the world’s major wine regions and give the essentials, covering:
- The grapes of the region
- Aroma and flavor of the wine
- Pairing the wine with food
- Bottles you should know
We also share anecdotes from our own experiences in these regions to make the journey more personal.
Our Story
We have been passionate about wine for a long time. We use wine as a means of experiencing the world and wine is always deeply connected to a region’s history, food, culture, and people. Our family has lived in the US, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, and Switzerland and throughout this period whenever we move or travel to a new location we are quick to connect with the wines of that region.
Wine is an obvious means of drawing people together around a table socially. It is also important that we all understand at least the basics of wine in a professional and social context. Or at least it is a shame if we don’t. Consider some of the content on this site to be what they should have taught you in business school! The rest is simply a creative outlet for us to share some experiences and build a sense of community around our favorite topic.
Sean Cochran is a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) and Angela Cochran is a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) as well as a WSET (Wine, Spirits Education Trust) Level 3 certificate holder.
